Arc Welding

Arc Welding

Arc welding is a technique in which metals are welded using the heat generated by an electric arc. This process melts the materials at the contact point, and once cooled, they fuse together.

It involves creating an arc between an electrode (a metal rod) and the base material, with power supplies delivering either direct (DC) or alternating (AC) current. Both consumable and non-consumable electrodes are used, depending on the application.
