Gas Welding

Gas Welding

Gas welding is one of the oldest heat-based metal-joining techniques and widely used across industries.

It works by melting and fusing metals through intense heat generated by a flame, commonly from a mix of oxygen and fuel gases like acetylene or gasoline.

Unlike arc welding, gas welding generates heat through combustion rather than electricity, achieving flame temperatures up to 3100°C—sufficient to melt steel and various other metals.
